Herbal Home-Ed days NOW FULL

  • Wowo Campsite Wapsbourne Manor Farm, Sheffield Park, Uckfield TN22 3QT UK (map)

Come and join Herbalist Alice Betony on a seasonal foraging adventure aimed to engage young people in the wild medicine around us. Six or seven days over the foraging year enables us to follow the seasons, finding out what wild plants are in their peak to harvest and use for food and medicine.

We will roam the land and forage what is abundant and ready at that time of year and then make various medicinal and/or edible concoctions around the fire later after lunch. We will work our way through the botanical features of different plant families and compile our own nature based study of these plants as we go. Games, Stories and fire-by-friction may also happen!

Cost £25 first child £15 for sibling per day. Age 6+ yrs Adult's can stay for free as focus will be on the kids not adults, or drop off and pick up child.

It is not possible to book individual days, this is designed that the same group will follow the foraging calendar and become a small generational tribe over the foraging year. We will ask that you pay half upfront and half mid-year.

Refunds can be issued with 8 weeks notice minus 10% admin fee. If less than 8 weeks notice, NO refund is due
