Spring Foraging and Wild Medicine

Learn about the wild food and medicine available in abundance during Spring.

This season is the peak time for spring greens and early flowers.

The sap has risen, and nature’s bountiful early medicine chest is on display.

The landscape is full of cleansing and nutritious plants you can use for food and medicines.

On the day, we will walk the land in the morning, gather plants, and fill up our baskets.

Along the way, you’ll learn introductory botany and plant ID tips as well as the herbal properties of common weeds we see.

In the afternoon, we will base ourselves around the fire. Here, you’ll turn your harvests into food to share and potions/tonics to take home.

What you will learn?

On the day, you will make:

  • A balm for bruises and minor wounds

  • A digestive bitter tonic OR an emotional wellbeing tonic

  • Plenty of delicious wild foods such as wild pesto, wild salad with herb-infused salad dressing, lacto-fermented wild garlic, spring greens sauerkraut and nettle pakoras

  • Wild teas and tonic tasters

£65 per person

You will need to complete our booking form and make payment to confirm your place, please book via the Circle of Life Rediscovery website.
