Backyard Green Juice

Calendula officinalis has delicious edible flowers to brighten any salad or add to fresh juices

All picked fresh depending on whats available, rotate herbs to let them grow back and maintain supply.

  • Half organic cucumber
  • A few sprigs of Mint; you can get various different types to grow and i suggest to keep them in containers or else they can take over the garden
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Mineral or filtered water

Pick any selection of common herbs that you might have already growing in your garden or annuals that you have planted such as Viola, daisies, nasturtium leaves and flowers, chickweed, nettles, ground ivy, basil, coriander, dandelion flowers or leaves, primrose flowers, honeysuckle flowers, Hollyhock flowers or other mallow varieties, lettuce, chicory, calendula flowers or parsley.

Whizz it all up in a blender and drink with a big smile on your face radiating out from your happy belly.
